Creating a TWINT payment link
TWINT lets you accept payments without an online shop. Follow this guide to create your payment link.

Accepting TWINT payments without an online shop
TWINT offers a still-underused feature for accepting payments through their platform, with no complex integration and no online shop required: the payment link.
Just send your personalized link to your client and they can pay you with TWINT, without you ever having to share your mobile number!
How do I create my TWINT payment link?
Prerequisites
Before you can create a payment link, you need a TWINT merchant account. You can sign up even if your business isn't registered with the commercial registry. To create an account, follow the instructions on the official TWINT website and select the corresponding option.
Creating the payment link
Once logged in to the merchant portal, go to the "businesses" section, then add a business under "payment link / QR code for postal mailing".
- Enter your industry.
- Enter your business contact details.
- Add your business logo, which will show up when clients open your TWINT link.
- Select the bank account you want to receive your funds on, or add a new one if needed.
- Choose which fields to display and/or make mandatory. These let you reconcile incoming payments with your bookkeeping.
- Enter the email address where you want to be notified of client payments. You can also use the TWINT Business Portal mobile app.
Sharing the payment link
Once all the information is entered and confirmed, your payment link appears on screen and you can send it to your clients so they can pay you via TWINT.
If needed, you can always edit the information you request from your clients. The original link stays valid and automatically points to the most recent version of your configuration.
